The commissioning checklist walks through PV, battery, AC and handover checks, then generates a commissioning report so you leave site knowing what was tested and what is still outstanding.

How the Commissioning Checklist works

  1. Work section by section

Complete PV, battery, inverter, AC distribution, protection, labelling and documentation checks in order.

  2. Record defects, not just ticks

Note anything that fails or needs follow-up. A clean report with an unresolved defect is worse than an honest one.

  3. Generate the handover report

Produce the report and give the customer the system summary, warranty details and safe operating guidance.

Worked example

5 kW hybrid installation handover

Eight panels on one string, a 5 kWh lithium battery, a 5 kVA inverter and a new AC distribution board.

  • PV voltage and polarity confirmed
  • Battery communication and charge current checked
  • AC changeover and earth continuity tested
  • Customer walkthrough completed

Assumptions and limits

  • The checklist is a prompt list, not a substitute for the manufacturer's commissioning instructions.
  • Local electrical safety requirements still apply and may exceed this list.
  • The report records what the installer checked. It is not a third-party certificate.
